Hello

The last 3/4 times we have stayed on a caravan club cl site nobody has asked to see our membership card or ask for our number at anytime - is this usual? If so then surely anybody could stay on them!

We are complete opposite- everytime I book one over the phone they have asked for our membership number!! but I can see where you are coming from why are they Cls if anyone can book in!

i have just joined the caravan club as we are staying in a couple with friends.

is it worth the money of joining the cc?

Your lucky to be able to book any cl sites, Is it really worth re- joining next year every time me and my husband have tried to book any site they all seem to be fully booked months in advance.

Do you mean the actual Club sites rather than CL's? I've never had the experience of CL's being booked up months in advance, but the Club sites usually are, so I think you must mean the sites rather than CL's.

You can usually get in on a CL at fairly short notice, unless of course it is peak season and a particularly popular CL. Have you ever tried them? They are often in lovely locations, and cheaper than the big sites into the bargain!

same with us Tazz. Getting very disheartened with them.The Cls in the area I need are all booked also. I am fishing in Kent at Bewl waters, now google earthing for a lay up. If I cam up my caravan with tree branches and a huge cardboard cut out of a cow I may be ok.

We have just been trying to get 3 nights on any of the club sites in the north west/wales on the web site for mid week next week and it shows all are booked up,

so i rang chester fairoaks warden direct and managed to get 2 nights,
