Hi All,
My name's Ant and I'm looking to organise a camping trip with a group of friends ideally to Wales near the beach. I am 27 and the average age of the group is a similar vintage, we are all professionals hence we are not likely to be throwing bottles of beer at anyone or throwing up in the toilets and generally being anti-social. That said we do like to listen to music late at night, and some of us are musicians so we'd more than likely be playing music too. And yes we would be drinking and quite possibly being what some would deem loud therefore somewhere reasonably segmented and not overtly orientated around families would make sense so as not to disturb or offend anyone.
I have searched various sites including this one and I'm finding that there are either peaceful, tranquil havens with strict rules on groups, or free-for-all under 18's allowed mayhem campsites where anything goes, the facilities are shocking and trouble is more than likely.
Surely there must be somewhere inbetween????
I would be extremely grateful if someone could point me in the direction of a campsite where a large group of mature, responsible adults could go to enjoy camping, have some fun around the campfire, BBQ, play a few songs and just generally have a good time without upsetting families or being plagued by 16 year olds tanked up on Stella?
Many Thanks and happy camping! :-)
Ant.

Thanks Naomi and Serenlas, didn't expect decent replies so quickly!!
You've made me feel very welcome here :-)
I did have a look at Shell Island and the many MANY reviews! I wasn't sure because by the sounds of things it's kinda split with one side reasonably quiet and the other quite loud and rowdy, but you can't book you just have to turn up and hope you get a spot you want.
I guess the trick would be to head down there on the Thursday night to beat all the Friday morningers :-)
Thanks again!!
Ant.
