We stayed at golden valley in derbyshire over the Bank holiday weekend for 3 days and had a great time.We were a bit worried because of the bad messages about the owner.But we have nothing but praise for him,he works very hard until the late hours to be helpful.We took our 2 grandchildren and they loved it.The toilet and showers are kept clean at all times.We have no complaints about this site at all the only downfall was the windy weather.we would certainly recomend this site and will be going back.

Totally agree - we stayed here as newbies last year and had a wonderful time.  Camp site had loads to offer, very helpful and would highly recommend.

Hi,

Maybe he's learned some manners then because he was VERY rude to me and my family last year - maybe because of my post complaining about him he has read it and mended his ways which is good for all future campers on his site.

I;m glad to hear that things have altered here since last year. This site is very local to us and perfect for people wanting to visit Derbyshire and the peaks,

It may be worth recommending now as we get people asking for suitable sites as they pull up laden with camping gear !!!.
