Although I can't remember the name of the site at present. I did find a site which charges £4 for C&CC members and £5 for non members although they are willing to recharge mobiles and satnavs if necessary.
It really depends on the type of site but I have been shocke this year to see some all singing and dancing sites charging in the region of £50 per night!!! The site looks lovely I have to admit but at that price it is out of our reach unless its our ONLY holiday/camping trip of the year. Obviously some people are only too pleased to pay that but for me I would rather pay less and get away a bit more than once!!
I dont like to pay more than £25 per night in August and for that I expect immaculate facilities, decent sized pitches etc but not neccessarily the club house and all that.

When we used to go to a "posh" site in the summer with the kids I used to compare the site fees with their static charge to see if we were gettting a good deal. Now without the kids I prefer CLs and CSs for £5 to £10 often with electric,
------------- Good friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget.
I'm going to refuse to pay more than £20 a night now unless its an exceptional site and then I'd only go up to £25 absolute tops but it have to be something very special. I would say less but we have to go away during the school holidays now and I know the prices are a little OTT then. If it was out of school holidays then I wouldn't pay more than £18 absolute tops.
That's for a non electric pitch, 2 adults, 2 children, one car, reasonable sized pitch.
I'd expect nice toilets and showers. No entertainment or anything like that as we prefer quiet campsites.
As a mainly solo lightweight camper I pay anything from £3.00 to £7.00 depending on a number of factors.
However, I'd pay £10.00 per night something a bit special.
Nice clean campsite, decent loos and showers, wee swing park for the kids but nothing else by way of facilities? (My sort of campsite, really....) About £15 per night for a medium sized tent, two adults, two kids, one car. MIght go to £20 max on a holiday weekend if it was the only site in an area I wanted to visit.
There are some campsites though I think I should have been paid to visit....

The one i usually go to in Chichester is a nice site, its clean, very big, has good loos and showers, has park for kids, has swimming pool and club house if needed and shop onsite. They charge £21 per night, which is expensive but as its only occasionally and a nice site, we dont mind!
I suppose it all depends on what sort of facilities you want how much you are willing to pay. We like small sites, often CS's, with electric hookup, a loo and shower if its for more than a weekend, a park for the kids is a plus, but not necessary they can entertain themselves.
For that in the right location we'd pay up to £15, if it was a bigger park with better facilities for week long breaks up to £20. There have been exceptions, but its rare.
Edited to say: Whoops just re read the original post, asking about tents without EHU. Sorry
