Hi all, does anybody know of any season pitches either on or around the Lake district or the East coast (Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington). Would have to be suitable for family's. If anyone knows of any available for this season or to put name down for the future i would appreciate it.
Many thanks Lisa

Not exactly at the coast but we are seasonal at goosewood 6 miles north of York. we live in Sheffield & it takes us just 1 hour 15 mins then another 45 minutes to the east coast, 45 mins to the dales, a park & ride at £2 return to york. We also have Knaresborough, harrogate, Thirsk etc etc just a few minutes away. the park has a fishing lake a large playing grassed area, a great park, indoor play barn for the kids. Even though we don't have any small kids (just a 21 & a 23 year old) we love it here. We regularly use the onsite health suite with sauna, hot tub & swimming pool. Not sure if any seasonal pitches are available but you can always ask.
Thank you. We actually past flower of may last week when we stayed at primrose valley. will haved to check that out! If anyone has any more suggestions that would be great.

not sure if this is to far from you but fangfoss old station caravan park,it is about six mile from york lovely family site not a lot on just park little shop and shower blocks this is our third season and i have four kids it is £1025 from 1st march till end of october an extra £75 if you want november they also do winter storage if required they do have pitches available as well good luck hope you find somewhere
We have just arranged a seasonal pitch at the Flower of May and have found it to be everything we could possibly want from a site.We have three young children who enjoy the family entertainment and the swimming pool but we also enjoy the surrounding beaches and wonderful things to do in the area.It is spotlessly clean and the warden is very friendly no complaints at all.We have just come back from a week at Spring Bank and although the site must have been full it was certainly not overcrowded and a high standard was still maintained.
Good luck with the search

thankyou i telephoned the flower of may but they still want £1,500 even though this year would only be from July to October. That is a little exspensive for under 4 months. will have to keep looking!
Gosh that seems really cheeky of them I think that is terrible to be honest.I know when we had arranged ours we were there for the week when we decided to stay and they wouldn't even incorporate our weeks stay into the fact that we had then booked a seasonal pitch and give us some back for it.At the end of the day they will lose out won't they, its a shame though with such a lovely site.
Have you tried Crows nest next door as that seems nice and you can still use Flower of Mays facilities as you don't need passes.
Last weekend we came back from the Lakes. Troutbeck Head CC site very near to Ullswater and they have seasonal pitches for varying lengths of the season. Big pitches and great facilities. Think they have about 30 seasonal pitches altogether.
