I've just stayed at a CC cl:
Coppins Lodge
Pentlepoir
Saundersfoot
Pembrokeshire
SA69 9BN
01834812364

EHU, toilets, showers hardstanding £9.50 a night for 2 adults. Lovely location, with vans spread out really well.

Can anyone else recommend any good cl or cs with EHU, toilets, showers and hardstanding? I don't do very basic camping and have so far used CC and CCC sites, but I love the price and would like to stay at more of these.

Thanks

Hi

We went to a caravan club certified location last summer - Greenloch House Soulseat, Stranraer.  I know the owners were planning to get it added to uk campsite but it is not on yet.  I don't know how to add it but will review it when it is on.   It is a beautiful peaceful site with nice pitches.  Each pitch has a picnic table available. There is a toilet but no shower on site.  The loch surrounds you on three sides.  We enjoyed kayaking on the loch and loved the view, sitting looking out onto the loch. The owners are fantastic and were wonderful with our children.  We loved it there and would be happy to go back. If you google it you will get more info.

Bramblewood Cottage near Whitcurch, Shropshire, doesn't have hardstandings but short well drained grass, has a loo and shower (although the shower is drained down in winter/spring), £9.50 per night.

Hawthorne Cottage in the Forest of Dean, not a CS but was also £9.50 when we stayed, has ehu, hard standings and 1 loo and shower for ladies and gents, and a hut with satellite tv, as reception is poor.

Both the above have extremely friendly owners.

Anne

I think there's a button to hit under 'campsites' that takes you through how to add them on.  The webmaster may add a line about how to when he sees this thread ...
