Well, I seemed to have stirred up a hornets nest here.
Kiln Park was lovely, very quiet at night, no noise at all in tent field after 10.30pm.
Nice clean showers and toilets, cleaners in attendance all day.
security patroll every hour or so. Site was quite full but tent field not overcrowded, plenty of space. Lots of taps and bins on the tent field.
We only came home this evening because my son was feeling homesick and missing his daddy. He'll be back in school tomorrow.
Tenby is a beautiful place. You can walk to the beach along a path direct from the site, then go up steps off the beach into the town.
I still don't feel guilty at taking him out of school for a few days.
We don't make a habit of it, we can't afford holidays abroad, unlike some who take the kids out for a fortnight, and certainly not in school time.
we camp locally usually, because my husband is self employed and can't afford to take time off to come with us.
For all the worried people out there, my sons best subject is maths. He is fully up to speed in all his other subjects.
He did a lot of calculations playing cards for hours in the evenings too now an expert at beanie, rummy , pontoon, and taxi.
Sits back and waits for the anti gamblers

hi midnite sorry for your wee lass but nice post
luke 4 or 5 males wanting to camp together, in the sites eyes you're bound to be queer, criminal, roudy, troublemaker and all round undesirable !!cker, on the other hand you're probably 5 blokes who enjoy each others company and just want to go fishing, drinking, chasing skirt and generally av a laff,
you need to phone owner run sites, tell them your plans, perhaps offer a "we will behave refundable deposit" good luck and let us know if you get sorted
