Me, the missus and kids went away last weekend and got bitten to bits by midges, that was the only thing that spoiled our weekend. We were sat (being eaten alive) having a few drinks (too many units) and decided there is no such thing as the perfect campsite cos we all like different things, if we didn't all like different things there'd be a long queue.
For us the perfect site would be...No pub on-site, clean and tidy, fairly modern toilets/showers, plenty of hot water, shop on-site, quiet, no loud noise rule after 10:30 (don't mind talking), fairly flat pitches, electric hook up, kids play park and reasonable price, we don't mind paying for decent facilities but hate being ripped of! And nearly forgot, no bloody midges!!!!
Are we asking for too much? Karlos and Chas.
