cheapest sites I have found other than rallies is going on a cs site. We paid £8 a night even over the bank holiday weekend. Just can't justify spending £17 a night for a site we used to go to when we can pay £8. Would help if we knew what area you're wanting to go to.

May 13 - Cala Gogo, St Cyprien (didn't go, hubby too ill to travel)
May 14 Ranc Davaine
August 14 Les Sablons
August 13 - Camping Playa Brava, Pals
I agree. Some farms might do basic sites but you wouldn't get the facilities you're after. Also, if you're a single person using the C&CC sites you only pay for one person whereas commercial sites all base their prices on a minimum of 2 people - why pay the extra and you get access to all the cheaper CS sites.

Also with C&CC you get to use their temporary holiday sites. Okay, some say own sanitation essential but others are set up at say Rugby Clubs or the like and these have showers, toilets etc. EHU would be a problem but a 4 quid a night, these have to be the cheapest holidays anywhere.
We have just come back from a week at Magor Farm in Cornwall and can definately reccomend. Bare bones facilities, showers toilets washingup but thats about it, oh and EHU, we paid £8/night non ehu but otherwise I think it might be £10 with hook up.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Aye, we went there with the CC coupon, £40 4 of us , three nights, passes, clean showers/toilets, thought we,d try it with apprehension after a Blue Dolphin experiance, but will return.
