Hi looking for nice campsites walking distance from a beach, preferably sandy, in the south east of england and devon! We are in London and want to drive max 3 hours or so. 

Can anyone recommend one?

How about Nodes Point on the Isle of Wight.  We stayed there in a chalet during May half term but checked out the camping area as we go camping too.  The lower camping field is literally right next to the beach, with some great views.  Facilities looked lovely too.

Where exactly are you wanting to go as there must be lots around the country.  I think there's been a similar posting recently - have you tried the search facility on the forum?

Nodes point is excellent and if you camp in the lower field you almost fall out of your tent onto the beach.

Failing that, pore over an OS map and see what camping symbols lie right next to the sea in the area you want to go and then check them out on here.

Heathland beach, we went last year very good site we travelled 5 hrs to it and were really pleased
