Ant suggestions where I could pitch my tent thats handy for the tube into London. No npreference really but I am in the north,I have kids and the wifes family live in suffolk.

All info and advice greatfully recieved.

Does it have to be the tube - Abbey Wood is only a 5 minute stroll from the railway station and it does not take long to get into London.
