Fancied a break at Hoburne this weekend but the online booking system will only accept a three night break.I rang direct to the site and asked why this is so and they expalined that its a "weekend break" so people can stay late till sunday afternoon as usualy you have to leave by1 am.However if i call back thursday afternoon and they have a pitch we can book for two nights.Is is me or is this slightly bonkers or what?Seems to me to be a way of getting money out of people for an empty pitch as i we like many others have to go home sa we can go to work on a monday.Has anyone else experienced this strange system and how do you view it?

At the Bashley site in Hampshire you can book for 2 nights and pay a fiver to stay later.

We stopped going to Hoburne Cotswold for that reason, and also that they charge a fortune!  Yes it is completely bonkers when most people have to work on a Monday and/or have kids to get to school!

We went to Hoburne Cotswold for Oct half term. We booked Mon-Fri but packed up and left at about 3.30pm on the Thurs because we knew the only way we would be off by 10am would be to get up at silly o'clock!

Had a club meet[rally] last year at this site.

Everyone in our party said~"never again" too many petty rules etc and apart from that not impressed with the pitches etc very small, cars had to be parked across front of vans.
