Looking for a camping site, that wil accept ,er "same sex" parties. tend to find that a majority of sites these days, will not accept anyone other than couples or families.

So, looking for a fairly quiet site, pleasant surroundings,no frills apart from decent shower facilities, does not have to be close to beach either. I dont mind a short drive.

All recommendations appreciated.

Best wishes.

We've been to Low Wray, National Trust, Campsite a couple of times in "same sex" groups, however you are limited to no more than 4 per group.

Not a "quiet" site, but Europa Park is happy to have single sex parties on site, in fact it seems to be a bit of a party site!

Thanks "suzy", but im looking for a quiet site, not "party site". If the loudest thing on site is  the birds morning chorus, then thats fine by me.

6 different radio stations, plus someone testing the volume of their in car system is not what im looking for, thanks!

Glan y Mor near St Davids takes groups but is probably a little quieter than some that do. I have been to pub there when in the area (which is beautiful!) and it all looked quite nice-walking distance to beach as an extra bonus. Worth a look?

Believe it or not "conway1", I did pick that up from your initial post. Sometimes however, even people who like a bit of peace and "quiet" most of the time like to let their hair down and party.
I posted the link just in case.

hi there conway1

have you had a look at fforest fields or shell islandneither say they do not accept same sex groups, personally i would recommend fforest fields if you want the quieter life, although on shell island you can camp as near or as far away from the facilties as you prefer.

good luck

Thanks for that, but to be honest, i dont like Shell island, it gets a little too crowded, plus you are restricted for getting on and off with the tidal causeway road.

Plus after  the high wind a couple of weeks ago, with 30 tents going  low flying seawards, im not so keen on trying to pitch there, freak wind or not [ha ha].

But i do appreciate all suggestions, many thanks again.
