You could try Dinarth Hall. they seem to be very open to who camps aslong as you dont disturb anyone else camping there. Its set on a working farm though, so it depends if your okay with that sort of thing.

reckon this one will suit you down to ground. we took 4 tents up last year,pitched all in a circle and had a real fire going,( fire pits provided). theres a cricket club just down the lane too if you get rain!    just  arrive pitch up  and the easy going owners will just come round for pitch fees,cost us £8 a tent last year,

big tesco mile or two down road for your beer, plus kebab shops etc that deliver to camp.
