Can anyone recommend a campsite in or around Newquay for a family of 4 (inc two 6 year olds) & a mother who has never been camping. Dad's an old hand, but I guess there's a difference btween my festivalling days & now.

Only looking to stay 3or 4 nights but if anyone knows a good one do post
(especially if it has a pool)

me and OH went here last year with my two grandkinds 6 & 9 year olds,loads for kids to do and good pool and fantastic sunsets,has a beach on the end of site.

I stayed at Hendra last year.

It's outside Newquay, but has an outdoor pool and a fun pool which is indoor. Would go back and have recommended it to friends.

Thanks for the prompt response & thank you also for the very warm welcome.

The first 2 suggestions both look very promising, I'll be on the phone tomorrow.
Only wished I'd come up with the camping idea a little earlier. I decided breaking the journey would be a great idea to let the girls have a whole day at Longleat on the way down. Have booked a fantastic B& B/ cottage/inn.

But would have been a whole lot cheaper to do the whole trip under canvas.

we went to treloy last summer lovely site with outside pool, park and bar.

we would go back to this site.
