Looking to take family, two young children to south wales or Devon for weeks holiday in August. Any advice on best site with possible attractions ect.

Last August and Whitsun just gone, we went to Cofton Country in Starcross just outside Dawlish Warren. Wife three kids (13, 10, 2) and myself. (Only been camping twice)

Very clean site but gets busy. Out door pool, play areas, bar that serves meals and a takeaway well stocked shop.

We will be going back when next in Devon.

Good reviews on this web site thats how we found them.

Anywhere on the Gower (Swansea) is lovely - there are lots of sites (see search on this website) for your particular needs - there are lots of activities for kids & adults - beaches, lovely scenery, country pubs, etc.

Bank farm Horton Gower is a lovely site, see reviews here. If you don't mind camping without electric, there is a CCC club holiday site there from 24 july to 17 august.I f you are a CCC member, the fee is only £8.50 per night, as opposed to £20 + per night if  booking with the site direct.
