not really,as a general rule i would not want to drive any "B" road towing a caravan.

Are you actually going to Broadway? as there are various A road routes around that area-Evesham/worcester for instance.

Come off the M40 at Warwick take the A46 to Stratford and Evesham, then To Broadway it will be a lot easier.

The road from Stratford to Broadway is no problem at all for towing a van or trailer. Its also the shortest route and at 1.32 a litre you need to keep the miles down as much as possible. Most B roads are adequate  in width and surface for towing and i think the comment "I would not want to drive any b road towing" is a little off the mark as its inevitable that you wil use these roads at some time during your travels and should be confident enough to tow on them.If not don't tow at all.

That rules out a fair bit of Cornwall, then!
Actually, I have found some B roads (for example, in the North-East) that are better than A roads in other parts.... - you just have to hope!

B roads are usually fine, however no experience of that particular one. We towed along part of the Fosse Way in Warwickshire at the w/e, no problems. (from the A425 to the roundabout near Compton Verney).

Hi there

Okay so the general rule of thumb for that particular B road is that is it's okay to tow on especially as it's the shortest route, think we will go that way, i'm sure my hubby will manage it well as he is a qualified hgv1 driver, as we live in the Yorkshire dales some of our B roads are very narrow and steep, just wanted to check the same did'nt apply to the B4632

Cheers Sandra

The B4632 is the original A46.
There are no steep or narrow bits, that I can think of!

I've been on a fair few roads around the broadway area with my lorry & to be honest, without checking my map for your road number to identify it, as long as you take your time, you won't have a problem on any of them. Considering the amount of farm traffic using such roads, they wouldn't worry & neither would I.
