We are looking for a site in Derbyshire for two adults and two young children in a tent with EHU. We would like a decent toilet block, shop, play area and ideally some dort of indoor games room.
Any recommendations?

I have not been here myself but my cousin went a few weeks back with his OH and daughter and some friends and thier children,he said it was great there and close to gullivers kingdome and a lot of other interesting places, and was going again soon.the reviews are the ba est way to find out about the site.
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.

Hi, Not a bad site but for 2A+2C and dog it's £30 per night, Other facilities are extra so not that reasonable on price.
------------- Doing as little as possible for as much as possible...

Try Green Hills near Bakewell - Nice site with a play ground and a play field for the kids and a pub for the mums and dads - short walk into Bakewell along the river.
Another one worthy of recommendation is Highfields in Ashbourne although I believe it is now known as Ashbourne Heights, got everything you require and more including indoor swimming pool, however it is not over commercialised either so still get decent sized EHU level pitches.

Thanks for the recommendations. Tried one or two which don't have any EHU pitches left but just emailed Ashbourne Heights. It's in Fenny Bentley, my husband's family come from there so he likes the sound of that one.
