The girls are aged 15 and 12, and i am picking them up from shropshire. So few days at me brothers then was going to work my way back, can anyone suggest some good campsites as this is my first real camping trip. This is my first trip with the girls for 8 months so cannot let them down, have bought all the kit. sorry i cant help you, we are in south wales & have never been up to cleethorpes - but I really hope that you have a lovely time with the girls - i am sure they will appreciate the outdoor life - best of luck
If you look on the campsite search there's plenty of sites, look for the Ashbourne area in Derbyshire and there are several on the Staffordshire page. if you have a look on the map search you get them pin pointed. There are mixed reviews of some of them, depends what your thing is as to what kind of site you're after.
Setting up and packing up the tent can be the most stressful part of camping, so you might want to think about how many times you want to do this on one trip.
When choosing your site(s) you might want to involve the girls in the decision, or at least ask them what sorts of things they'd be looking for eg other teens, a swimming pool, close to a cycle path, a club with evening entertainment, close to somewhere they want to visit.... MT

Thxs Kate, have checked out the Caloow top campsite and that look really good, so will take them there for the first 4 days, now trying to find the next place on my journey across the country for the next 3 days, going to check out staffordshire, would you recommend any site around there.
