We plan to go away in August and when we thought everything was going well after we had booked, we get a phone call breaking bad news. There is no Electric for that weekend. We plan to take our 7 month old baby so we are looking for a friendly but essentially clean. This is our first time camping in years so any help is much appreciated. We only have a month to book. We are looking at somewhere in wales near llandudno or around that area.

liam, if you are happy with the site you have booked why dont you just go and manage without electric for a weekend..

We have camped wih our children from being 3 months old and have never used electric, gas can warm food and water plus provide heat if needed.

If your still not convinced try Cae Du in Beddgelert,Beautiful scenery, very clean facilities and quite at night. They still had availability when i booked on sunday..

Good Luck whatever you decide to do and remember to relax and enjoy.

I live near in St Helens, inbetween Manchester and Liverpool and we were looking to travel about 70 miles. The lakes even.

The wife inists that we use electric so i have found it best to go along with it.

Why is is so difficult?
