Hi there,

Could anyone recommend any cheap campsites, preferably less than £10 a night for a family of 2 adults and 4 children in a family tent at the beginning of August on the Llyn Peninsula?

We don't really need any facilities, as we have a toilet and only staying a few stays so no showers needed either.

Hi Emma

We go to the Abersoch area and have stayed at loads of different sites.  If you go on the site search part of UKCS you can find all their contact details etc.  For cheaper sites (though I don't think you'll find anything under £10 for a family in August) try Nant-y-Big, or maybe Treheli, Criw & Tanrallt.

I reckon the only thing you will get for £10/night is a certified location through one of the clubs,ie,caravan club or camping and caravanning club.If you find a site at £10/night keep it to youself!!

Ma & Pa are in Abersoch at the moment (they go for 6 weeks every year!!) I've been there most years for the past blah blah blah years and its a great place, however they have never had the weather so bad in 20 yrs. sorry!!!!
