Hi there, looking for somewhere for our debut trip.  Just going for the one night and looking for somehwere that will accomodate our Hartwell XL and 2 cars if poss (x2 familes of 3).  We live in Manchester so perhaps not to far to travel seeing as it is only one night (say 40ish miles).  Also my daughter is 2 1/2 and I am a little consious of some site rules, no noise after a certain time etc, worried that she wont settle as she normally does at home.  Any help will be greatly appreciated !

cheers

Rivendale just the other side of Buxton is nice for a night - I've stopped there for just the one evening...

Not been to Newhaven yet, but going to give that a go soon...

There are loads of sites nr Buxton - depends which side of the city you live on...

You worried that it will be too noisey or that she'll make noise?

Great will have a look at your suggestions.  Just concerned that she will play up and not settle.  I am sure we can observe the rules but aren't rules set in place for toddlers to break!!  Forgot to mention that EHU is very high on our list of priorities.  We live North Manchester but right near the motorway so not difficult to get around.  Also what is the going rate for a night with EHU?

thanks

I was in the overflow at Rivendale which has no electric  - do you really need it for just the one night? A cooler box should stay cool overnight if you fill it with ice blocks... Or use frozen milk cartons full of water - they'd do you for a night...

I believe Newhaven is £14.45 a night with electric...

Brilliant.  Am I right to be concerned about any potential noise ?

thanks

I've got a three year old...

She's so knacked by the end of the day the only noise she makes is zzzzzzzzzzzzzz lol...

I think it's the same with most kids... They wear themselves out and sleep well...

You can't do much about other people's noise - stay on a site with quiet times... I'm sure your neighbours would be understanding if your little one did kick off... Not like a drunken conversation or loud music... Tis just the way kids are...

Good luck choosing a site...
