We spent a few days in May at Three Rivers in Clitheroe, and that is a nice site.  Kids spent loads of time playing with others in the play areas, or just riding around on their bikes.

 Just a thought but why dont you consider going to the south lakes, thats what we always do for weekends away in the van from next door in Blackburn.

my other half says its far easier towing on the motorway than going on country lanes were you may need to stop or reverse your van when the lanes narrow, even i have managed to tow it in a straight line ( if you have seen me drive you would know that is impressive) Ha Ha..

 the Windermere caravan and camping club site would be a doddle for you to get to and it gets good reviews on here..

where ever you go im sure you will have a fab time the kids will love it.

Welcome Joe and Nicola......have you thought of joining any of the clubs....the CC has some lovely site....but it depends on what you are looking for.....I can recommend Southport CC.......now I live in Blackpool so the CC here is easy to get too......or how about the lakes.....Low Park wood near Kendal just off the M6 or the site at Grange.
