Hi

Looking for a site somewhere between Telford and Milton Keynes - for a 2 night weekend. MIL will be in her campervan and us in our tent.

Ideally site needs to have clean loos, a play area for kids to meet other kids and a field for football - or grassy areas without the 'no ball games' rule.

If it had a pub/restaurant onsite or nearby that would be handy as we will probably arrive Friday evening and prefer not to have to cook the first night.

would also like it to be reasonably close to some sort of attraction we can take MIL and the kids to during our one day.

MIL is a member of C&CC club so was thinking perhaps of Clent Hills with a visit to the Black Country Museum, but couldn't see any mention of play areas and the site only shows a tiny set of swings. Can anyone comment? also, is it rural?

Anyone got any other recommendations?

How about this site, its near Drayton Manor theme park or if the weathers nice you can spend the day at the water park, much wildlife, boating, fishing, flora etc

your also right by the M42 jucntion to take you to M6 - M1 to MK

I had looked at this one, but the mention of road noise puts me off. I'm a very light sleeper, so am really looking for a more rural location.

Not been myself but the Kingsbury site is supposed to be very nice.

Stopped at the actual site on Drayton Manor a few weeks back and was very impressed...may not be as nice in the school hols though when full.

Try Lickhill manor it's got everything you've mentioned it's in Stourport on severn and it has west midlands safari park just a mile+ down the road
