Whoops dont know wot happened but my post doesn't seem to have worked !!!!

Anyway i was wondering if anyone knew of any ordinary 'campsites' in Brean Somerset?

Ive looked in the internet but only seem to be able to find holiday parks dominated by club houses and swimming pools.

Thanks for your advice...all we want is a field with toilets any other amminities would be a bonus eg showers, washing up facilities. We are only going for August bank holiday weekend.

If you are a member of the caravan club, their Hurn Lane site would be perfect for you, Its walking distance to the beach and just off the main road from Burnham to Brean

Hmmm..... If i were you I'd ask the question:do I really want to go to Brean?

We went to Warren Farm couple of years ago - it's ok, but to be honest you're not going to get much different in that area.

Would I go there again? Nope.

Then it would probably be either warren or northam, both commercial though, Would go for Warren instead of Northam though

Alternatively have you tried the C & CC site at Western, not brean I know but may be worth a look if desperate.

I love brean we always stay on northam farm in fact in 4 weeks i will be on my way there again this year for 2 weeks we will be there over the bank holiday and meeting Ali (snowy) again we love the area

No not long now we have someone to run the shop so we will all be down can't wait getting so excited caravan is already just got to put clothes in and we are ready.Looking forward to towing again.
