We are planning a camping trip in our Chevy to England in October, travelling from Holyhead via Tamworth and on to Bude in the South West.  Can anyone recommend some good sites where the showers and toilet facilities would be accessible for a wheelchair?  You'd be amazed how difficult it is to find out this information and how few sites have modernised to meet this most basic of requirement.  Oh yes, our very well behaved dog will be travelling with us too.  All help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the advanced search facility on this site now includes disabled facilities, dogs allowed too, have you tried it?

Can't help with personal experience, sorry.

These show disabled facilities and dog walks, we stayed at daisy bank and it was clean, but didn't have much in the way of pubs/restaurants within walking distance.

Assuming you can go adults only, then Old Oaks  near Glastonbury would be perfect for you.

They have a superb fully equipped shower room for disabled visitors. Pictures of this are on their website.

They even have wheelchair access to their private fishing lake, how cool is that?

The site is very dog friendly, they have a shower room for dogs!

It's a fabulous site in a lovely tranquil location.
