Anyone have any experience of the overspill field, i have just booked for the bank holiday weekend and was just wondering what its like.
2 adults 3 kids in a tent with entertainment passes £65, sounds to good to be true.

Yes i have .I had to call and book as our tent was over the 21 foot recomended. When we got ther we were told to pitch on the poppy field,  there wasnt enough room in my opinion. So back to the girl in the hut and she told us to go any where there(pointed to overspill field)Brilliant away from the main camping area and toilets. So loads of room and more quiet.Toilets are clean ,push button showers.Take your own tennis rackets,if the kids like it, as you have to hire them.Nice warm outdoor pool manned.I want to go back as Tenby is lovley.

Hi we are off to kiln park next week,We have stayed at kiln park four times now,and we love it ,When we booked i ask to be put in the overflow field,I prefer this field ,As it away from the main toilets /showers,And It is much quieter, last time we stayed on the overflow field there was portaloo type toilet and showers they were nice ,but there was only three or so toilet /showers, If we were getting ready to go out at night,I would walk down to the main toilets/showers which was about 5 min walk,They were great ! in the shower block there was about 10 showers cubicles, I never had to wait, you have a big cubicle to yourself wear there is plenty of room to get dry and dressed, And a mirror so you can do your make and hair, ,They are always being cleaned,Kiln park is my favourite Haven site, you can walk through the sand dunes from the site,To the most beautiful beach, you can see tenby town, just a little way down the beach,we sometimes walked down to tenby at night, Got something to eat and walked back down the beach as the sun was setting,BEAUTIFUL.There is also Somerfield at tenby.http://www.lavendercottagetenby.co.uk/images/Gallery/TenbySouthBeach.jpg

lol u have bought back some good times, i last went to Kiln Park 35 years ago but stayed in a caravan. I vividly remember walking through the sand dunes to the the beach and the zoo on the that rock on town beach. Tenby was such a nice resort with the walled town.

hmmm u have made me want to revisit will see if i can make a weekend there

the weather has been odd here of late  to say the least ! usually starting out raining in the morning but coming out really sunny/ warm later in the day

bit annoying as you don't know what to wear etc!
