Hi, Grafham has long since been a firm favourite with my family, having stayed there before and after it has become a club site. Has anyone stayed there since the "refit"? was wondering what works have been carried out whilst it has been closed and what the opinion was, were due to go for bank holiday weekend and cant wait!

Hi Angie, its a caravan club site, they took it over probably 12-18 months ago, it stayed the same at first but closed at the end of last season to be " brought in line with club standads" though we've always found it a fab site, with heated outdoor pool through the summer months. Couldnt rate it highly enough,well worth a visit. had heard that they had improved the childrens play area and just wanted some feedback.

Grafham (with 1 f) is near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Used to live near there when I was a kid.

Hi, Anne is right, the site im refering to is grafham water nr huntingdon. Although the other one amongst the tree sounds lovely!

we were at graffham just the other week.not alot different imho, same shower block , but more hardstanding pitches in particular on the bit as you drive out of the site.some of the dividing turf between the hardstandings is rubbish however,its in little squares and appeared to be dying and sunk down when you stood on it,very poor.best to avoid the pitches around the pool area if the weathers good as it can be quite noisy, ditto for the play area but this was a weekend at peak time so what do you expect ?

same brilliant wardens,id stick my neck out and say perhaps the best we`ve come across on the club network ??  hardworking, very helpful and always have a chat no matter how busy they are.

the owl still lives there and was sat on the office roof for a couple of hours one evening.

overall still a very good site and we will return for a long weekend hopefully this year.
