Hi,

Could anyone recommend any campsites which offer caravan storage?

We've been offered for sale a caravan which is currently located in Dartmouth however the campsite will not let us take over the storage space which leaves us looking for a new site.

Ideally, we would like to stay within that area however this looks like it could be difficult.  Our requirements are: nice location, near to pubs etc, not family orientated - no clubhouse pool etc, ideally near to a river for canoing (but not compulsary).  Devon, South Wales, South & South West areas preffered (we're in Berkshire so not too big a drive)

Any ideas / suggestions welcome!

Thanks

I assume its at Little Cotton at the moment? If not - try them, now best site for miles.

Sounds like Woodlands is no good....

Leonards Cove? Suspect thay may be full with the seasonal pitches from Deer Park since the club took it over.

There are several sites on the road from Totnes Cross (the BP garage) towards Kingsbridge - think its the A380? Take a look on the sitefinder facility.

Regards

Pete.

Yes - It's currently at Little Cotton but they say they're unable to let us keep the van there :o( Such a shame cos it's a fantastic campsite and I love Dartmouth.

So now were thinking it doesn't have to be Dartmouth - Dorset, Devon, Cornwall or South Wales seem pretty good options - just where?

Hi Barbie, have a look at The Inside Park. We stayed there for a week last summer, the site and surrounding areas were fantastic, (wish the weather had been the same!) handy for Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth etc.
The people on the next pitch to us store their caravan on there and said it was excellent. The site owners bring your van out from storage and put it on a pitch for when you arrive!

Good Luck!
