Not sure even tho its only 5mins up the road from us!,looks a well kept site and always seems fairly busy.Short walk to the Shrewsbury arms pub and a 10 min drive to Delamere forest, close to Oulton Park car racing circuit too.
Yes I have been before a few times more so when the previous owner had it, and it used to be a CL - I was hoping a CC member would be able to tell me if it still is.
It isn't a CL, but a small commercial site now. The entry in the CC book reads that there is space for 35 vans + tents.
We've stayed there once quite a few years ago, from what I remember it was a very busy road it was on, but a nice enough site.

I do like the fact that the price is given for 2 adults and 2 children and dogs and awnings go free. I wish more sites would stop building up their fees by starting low and charging for almost everything imaginable.
Jan P - I am not sure if it is still a CL, that is why I was asking, we need a CC member who would be kind enough to look it up on the CC website really.
The previous owner used to charge for the pitch, the only extra you had to pay for was EHU.
When the new owner upped the prices I found another site close by (I am not a CC member yet)and each time I have been passed it has been very quiet

I've already posted on this - see above. I am a CC member and have looked it up in the 2007/2008 CC book, which is the most up to date book.
It is listed under 'Winsford' and I double-checked in the section for CL's, and it definitely is NOT listed in there as a CL.
Have just been past the site, had a good look for the CL sign and couldn't see one anywhere, seemed to be a rally on for Macmillan care,Cancer charity maybe?.
We like this site - we have stayed before and are returning again on the 15th August for a weekend.
The site is only a few minutes away from my girlfriends parents house and as they dont have the room to put us up we take the caravan there.
There is the A54 running next to the site but that did not bother us. A wonderfully maintained small site and as one poster said its nice that the prices charged are for 2 adults and 2 kids and you dont have to pay extra for your awning and your dogs
------------- Don't come knockin if my caravan is rockin
