looking at whitley bay holiday park for a holiday and wondered if anyone has been recentley not a lot of reviews on the search. Its about three hours from where we live and we have children so on those rainy days which seem likely I'd like to think there is something for them to do , do they have a good kids club and entertainment?
Thank you

We drove past year before last ,we love the are and regullary go and stay in a hotel there and enjot the fab coastline for a few days every year. The area as you may know is rather run down ,which is a shame as the coastline is lovely
I would be interested in knowing if anyone rates the site there as it would be nice to take the kids too ( would never take them to a £100 a night hotel ,they have been dragged up and are a product of my terrible parenting skills!! )
As a Northerner with family ties to the area I'm pretyy biased but I would say the often maligned area is fantastic. Never been to that site but spent many hours in and around that area loads to do
hi all we spent a very awful 3 days with the sun hols deal in a static which was decrepid, to be fair it was the late season deal and only one club room room was open as the kids room had flooded,i had to pay at £8 quid to be a member (and family) and there was nothing on only 1 pool table but they had no cues so just a drink then in a dark dingy grotty bar there was only us in it 2 adults 2 kids we wished we had just gone somwhere with our tourer now but thought it would be a change id advise you to go just a bit further to Haggerston castle it will be worth the extra miles

My mam stayed there last year, it was a sun holiday, The caravan was clean, but cold, they ended up going out and buying a heater because it was so cold at night. The beds were not comfy. There is a nice little pool, a play area outside, i tghink that was about it on the actual park. There is plenty to do off the park premises. I live just through the tunnel in south tyneside, and we are never short of things to do.
there is nowt there i live about 2 miles away the council have run it in 2 the ground noting for kids o yes there is a pool but it is closed and a new school where the fun park was go to south shields in is better than whitley bay nowt nowt there
