Not camped there sorry but have stayed there about 5 times (!) in their apartments - I found it great for my kids .. there are indoor and outdoor pools and the entertainment and kids clubs were good. Also a pub on the site if you want to do something in the evening but don't fancy the party songs etc. Woolacombe itself is a short drive or you can go on the park bus and the beach is lovely.. big, sandy and clean. Much nicer than Butlins / Haven IMO .. hope you have a good time.
Exmoor Zoo good especially for younger kids.. they have lots of hands on talks and things. The Big Sheep has big indoor play-barn type thing with slides etc and sheep racing in the afternoon. Lynton and Lynmouth nice if they are happy wandering around and there is a cliff railway. There were a couple of other places that we saw leaflets for - I will see if I can remember names.
i have not stayed at goldon coast but have stayed at woolacome bay there sister site up the road nice area there is the beach which is realy nice if you have the sun with you and there is a dinosaur park but have a look on here hope this helps
