has anyone camped at at ashurst new forest (forest holidays) we have booked there for next week just wondered about the drainage as the site we were going to is waterlogged(HOLLANDS WOOD)ANY INFO ON THE SITE AND AREA WILL PUT OUR MINDS AT REST

hello, check my review on Ashurst if it helps. We stayed there 4 weeks ago, the ground is hard in places so watch your pegs! Great site, wanted to go back this week but got in at Holmsley instead. Just dont park near the loo block as it think this area seemed boggy. Other than that, you can probably tell where the water sits when you get there. Or ask the rangers as they are very helpful.enjoy!
