We've recently bought a Khyam Ontario 8 which we've used 3 times at 2 different campsites. One campsite was in Porlock where you can just pick anywhere in a field to pitch your tent, the other was in Newent where we were asked the size of our tent and given a specific plot.
We were planning on going to Ayr Holiday Park in St Ives for a week next year but notice on their website that they will only accept tents up to 20ft (6m). Our tent is 7.5m. Do you know how particular campsites are in sticking to these rules? Has anyone with a large tent stayed at Ayr Holiday Park before?
I don't know if this is a new thing as we've always stayed in a static caravan on this site before and when looking round the camping area I'm sure some of the tents were huge!!
