We're going to Dolbryn on Sunday - can't wait! was wodering what there is to do around the area?
Have read the reviews on here so know about the site, beaches and leisure centre, but was wondering if there was anything to do incase we wanted to venture off site with the kids.
Many thanks in advance

(usually!)
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Castell Henlleys - Iron Age Fort
Cillgerren Castle
Welsh Wetlands centre - Cilgerran
Cardigan Coast Farm Park http://www.cardiganisland.com/
I think there is a soft play place in Cardigan (sorry don't know how old your kids are)

There are a load of tourist information leaflets in the laundry room on top of the washing machines.
Years ago the old coracle men used to teach kids how to paddle coracles at Cenarth. These old men will be dead and gone by now but I wonder whether this is still done there, great for older children.

There's still a coracle museum there, but not seen them on the water
Depends just how far you want to go really, but if you have little ones then Folly Farm in Kilgetty (near Tenby) is definately worth a Punt. According to Google maps, it's about 27 miles. I was tempted by Fantasy Farm once which is up towards Aberystwyth. It was very disappointing. The owners had clearly gone to Folly Farm, and taken all the best bits and thrown them away, just tried to replicate what he could do on the cheap.
Folly Farm 10/10
Fantasy Farm 1/10
We've been to Folly Farm loads of times (we go at least once a year) and have never been bored or dissappointed. There is a constant investment and every year they have something new to offer.

we've been to folly farm quite a few times, the kids love it. We last went in March for my sons 5th birthday (his choice). It's a great place.
Well were virtually packed, just last minutes toiletries and stuff to put in the car and then we'll be off. Just popped on to check the weather this morning, looking dry so hopefully no putting the tent up in the rain!!
