Could anyone local to this road please advise me if it's suitable for towing a caravan?   It looks fine on the map. Many thanks.

I know you are okay along there to Wetwang. I am racking my brain to remember where the tight corner is along that route to Helmsley and I can't remember if it is before or after Malton... sorry. It is either North Grimston (before Malton) or a village after malton. It is a very tight corner (to the left coming from Beverley) immediatley at the bottom of a hill (which is a reasonably steep one).

I am a Beverley girl and my Grandma lived in Helmsley so at one time I knew the route really well, but I last drove it about 2 years ago and I seem to have brain drain today.

Hopefully someone will come along to help you a bit more comprehensivly.

Use the North Grimston/Settrington/A64 to get to Malton as that route avoids the nightmare traffic in Norton. There is a really tight street to get down with a car - can only think it would be horrendous to tow down
