Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We recently went to the Leisure Lakes site , to view it's sutibility for our own trips. It is improving , and looks very nice , but in the end , the busy roads around the childrens playsite put us off. We've booked into the "Riverside" 5 mins up the road for this coming monday.
From all accounts the Leisure Lakes has taken a turn around for the better. We have looked at the reviews, and whereas a year ago we wouldn't have touched the place, we are now thinking of going for a weekend, especially as it is only about 30 minutes away.

I will let you know what it's like then Bernie. they charge per tent not person so we are paying £12 a night for 3 adults and 2 children in family tent, and 2 cars, she also said you can put utility tents up etc free of charge. just hope the site is ok!
in the end we didn't go here, as got bad report off someone who had just been there. called on our way and no way, it was not really suitable for us, if you don't mind wild camping in woods full of litter and camp fires all over then you will be ok!
the people who ran it seemed friendly and nice, but was just not our cup of tea.
