My perfect site would be several acres, with only about 20 pitches, so everyone has tons of space.  Trees and hedges would be good too.  I'd much prefer everyone to park in a designated area, leaving the site vehicle-free.  Also, employing a warden to police the no noise policy is a good idea.  And to only pay £2 a night........

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

wilson 168 is right.

I was on a site in Cornwall and was talking to the warden about clubsites and I said do people take more care of the facilities because its a clubsite and they are all members. He replied no  some people are basically pigs.

seeing how some people leave the facilities I tend to agree.

There was an excellent letter in the caravan club magazine pity I cannot copy it here but it was in the vein of

' I am not here to flush and clean the toilet after you left it dirty'

'I am not here to poop scoop after your dog'

I am on holiday like you'

You get the gist of the letter and its true why cant people just leave things as they expect to find them. Fat chance I suppose.

Regards

No I'm not, are you one of these paranoid, selfish people who do as you please and dont give a toss about who it affects?

And no it wasn't in a designated spot, it was 2 foot from the window, a van or tent would've been further away. I've never seen vans parked 2 feet away from each other.

Go to Halfway( packem in) House, Bridgnorth. If you need salt on your brekkie egg the van next to you will pass it across through the windows !!!!
