Hi

I would be really grateful if anyone can help me. A small group of us, including a toddler and a dog, are looking for a fairly relaxed campsite in the New Forest.  We want somewhere that doesn't have too many restrictive rules, doesn't mind a bit of noise (within reason) and allows ball games etc (nothing too riotous).  We would like to be within a mile of a pub/cafe if possible, are not too worried about whether or not there is a playground and would prefer somewhere not too large or commercial.

The age of the facilities doesn't worry us too much, as long as there are some.  A shop on site is ideal and if it is on a farm even better.  If there are facilities for a bbq or a camp fire (communal or individual) that would be an added bonus although not sure we would find that in or around the New Forest.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

We've been to Hollands wood. It's lovely, the facilities are very good having recently been updated. We went in May with friends having 3 toddlers between us and we all had a superb time. Our friends went back this weekend and had a great time. We barbecued there too and there's a huge field with horses, kite flying space and a couple of woodland walks. about 500 yards up the road is a pub and a river with cows often drinking in it. Very lovely. Would highly recommend!

Brilliant, I have been searching and thought that one looked good.  We have managed to book there and I can't wait.
