Bardsea Leisure, Ulverston (is that the one you meant, Mrs Bonce?)
Great shower rooms. They're like large wet rooms with toilet, sink & shower all in one large tiled, underfloor-heated room. Great for families.
Reasonably priced about £10 per night for a couple.
Just a shame tents are all packed in together on the playing field next to main road, but other than that great site that we keep going back to every year.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

The newer shower block at Searles at Hunstanton is immaculate, with little separate area for changing and a sink inside the cubicle - which I like as I hate cleaning my teeth in front people (I'm going to get a bit of a reputation about teeth cleaning - see other thread). The only problem here was the 11 seconds of water you get before pushing the button again! But always a lovely temperature.
Showers are seperate from the loo/changing area with proper shower tray and door so that water does not leave the shower area. Water temperate is the best yet. there is a sink with shelf. There is a plug for your hairdryer/straightners. It's heated too. And even though it rained all week it was never muddy. Unfortunately they were encountered on my 1st camping trip so i thought that that was the standard i would meet everywhere but all the other sites i've been to have mostly freezing cold showers.
