In a fit of panic because we didnt want to miss the Maritime Festival and couldnt find another site close to Great Yarmouth with vacancies, I booked a couple of nights at the Haven, Wild Duck site.
Does anyone have any idea if Haven let you pay and stay on after the official "kicking out time" on the day you are due to leave or are they like a lot of large organisations and stick strictly to the letter of the law?.

I know at haven mablethorpe they let you for a small fee, when we stayed on they let us do it for free as they were not busy. I guess Wild Duck will do this as well.
Thats brilliant, thanks happymum. I noticed that the official time for leaving is (I think) 10.00 a.m, which means we would be home by mid-day and the weekend would feel like it was over.

We stayed at Reighton Sands Haven at the beginning of August,we enquired about staying an extra day and they said yes for £45 (we only paid £104 for monday to friday) also for a fee they let you stay on later. It was £5 to stay till 12 or £10 to stay on till 5pm. Not sure if all the parks do the same.
The family stayed there August bank holiday week, ended up getting the tent down by 12.30 then the kids stayed in the outdoor pool 'til 3.30 and nobody said a word!!maybe we were just lucky!!
