We are going there for the weekend - Does anyone know if there is a restuarant there or somewhere decent to eat nearby.  Will be 2 adults and 2 kids.  Chinese, indian anything so long as yummy.

Also - Where can we go for the day?

Thanks

Lou

Cotswold Hoburne has a pub/ bar that does reasonable but not brilliant food and also a snack-bar which to be fair I've never used but doesn't look great. Your best bet is may be to head for Cirencester, 5-10 mins drive away, where you'll find plenty of choice. There's normally plenty to do on-site- swimming pool, play areas etc. but if you wanted to "get out" a bit then you pass a pleasant hour or two in Cirencester or one of the surrounding Cotswold towns eg Tetbury. There’s also Westonbirt Arboretum near Tetbury if you fancy a nice walk (but check out admission charges). Have fun.

this is a great site , if you dont want to eat there there is a tesco and i think a mc Donalds on the round about just before cirencester and in the village down the road there used to be a chinese take away.

Turn left out the gates & drive about 3/4 mile there was a chip shop on the right hand side in the village which was okay as I recall.

The pubs there though weren't very good with food either.
