Hi all,

I'm new to this messageboard so forgive me if I have posted in the wrong place.

I have been searching on the website for a camp site for this weekend, to enjoy what will surely be last warm weekend of the year, but haven't quite been able to find what we want.

We are looking for a small rural site within an hour from the M25.  Good walking nearby and a local pub, with good food, within a couple of miles.  A campsite beside a river / lake / sea would be a bonus, as would being allowed to have open fires.

I would be very grateful of any suggesetions.

We have all that you seem to want but we are an hour further on than Ferry Meadows !  If you have the time to travel here look us up some time.

Thanks for the reccomendations, guys.  We will definitely give both options a go at some point.

We decieded that this weekend we would go a bit further than planned and spend the weekend in Norfolk.  Unfortunately, we didn't even get out of London: broken cam belt!!!  So any camping trip in the near future will have to be by public transport!
