You don't have to go CC for excellent facilities, I would recommend this fantastic site a couple of miles outsite Weymouth, Dorset. We love it here and it's now our favourite! I've been twice in the last few months even though its about 600miles round trip! It overlooks the Fleet and the views are breathtaking from every point. The new toilet / shower blocks are first class, showers better than mine at home!! The family bathrooms are a great idea. There's only a small shop on site but the other facilities are on the West Fleet site next door - outdoor heated pool, club, food entertainment etc so its there if you want that stuff. My mum and I had to go to a family funeral in the area and my husband said we were the only people he knew who could turn a funeral into a camping trip!!  We could pitch where we liked and our neighbours weren't on top of you even in August, when it was busy. Late Sept was perfect - I think there were only a dozen tents, we had one of the fields to ourselves. I know the Club wouldn't suit me as this year for example we only got away a few times, and I would hate to feel I should use their sites as I had paid for membership. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=2850 caroline
