Hello

I am thinking about doing something different at Christmas this year and going away for about 4/5 nights in the caravan with OH and doggy.  We live in Lanarkshire but would like to stay somewhere in Ayrshire so we can visit family on Christmas day in Largs and Dundonald. 

Does anyone know of any caravan sites in this area that are open over christmas?

Has anyone else done this as I'd love to hear what the experience was like?  Are we mad to do this?  Will we be the only ones in the caravan site???!

CC site in Ayr will be open (Craigie Gardens), but somewhere further up the coast would be better for you.

Have you checked for sites listed on here?

Hi Sarah

You most definitely won't be alone, loads of people go away for Christmas and/or New Year.  That might be the only problem finding a site with vacancies.
