Hi ,

One we like the look of , but we have'nt camped there as yet , is called Holme open farm at Sedburgh in Cumbria

There website , which can be reached via the review pages mentions farm tours , where you can felp feed the animals etc ,also sheepdog demonstations, shearing demonstrations ,evening badger watching , nature trails etc .

Sounds great and just the kind of thing our young 'un would love .

Fair old drive from your location , but may be worth a look

I stress , we have not visited as yet , so can't really comment on it's facilities etc , but the site is defenitely on our " to visit in 2009 " list

Thanks for that - shounds perfect and I will definitely look into it.  Don't mind the travel as we're looking to go away for a week or more, so it's not too bad.
