My son is 12 years old and uses an electric wheelchair. We always use the Caravan Club sites and have found disabled facilities to be first class, with plenty of room. Usually you have your own key. There are over 200 CC sites in the UK, so there sould be one near you.
Best we've found for wheelchair, Brynawelon in West Wales and Appletree which is the site attached to Banham Zoo in Norfolk, both of which you'll find listed in the camp site search.........Mick

Both us and bowdens have a ramp to access the facility. Also we both have a fold up seat with the shower cubicle and/or the wheelchair can be wheeled into the shower - these units have been specifically designed for wheelchair access with raise toilet, low level sink and plenty of space for multiple people within the room.

from Memory Tanner farm in kent had excellent disabled facilities, the site was scenic and pretty flat too.

Dolbryn near Newcastle Emlyn Carmarthenshire has a family room with shower, toilet wash basin and you can get a wheelchair right inside.it is open plan and the toilet has folding armrests. There is ramp down to the door also another to the small cosy bar .The site is run by very considerate owners who take pride in facilities. There are a number of beaches which are accessable by wheelchair within easy reach.
