Does any one know of any basic sites within 45 min drive of worcester?  Preferably with some fab views !!

We have to be back in worcester by 11am on sunday morning and if we stay much further than a 45 min drive we will have to get up really early (at least by 8am) and i don't want to have to rush.

I am having difficulty finding anyone who ever camps in the Worcester area (maybe there is a reason !!) I am a self confessed North Wales addict / freak !

Tudor caravan site - walking distance to Slimbridge - enter site by going through pub car park that does great food - clean loos etc

It is an hour from Worcester but there is a cracking site in the Forest of Dean called Christchurch, near to English Bicknor. Fab pubs within walking distance and right in the forest near Symonds Yat East (and the Saracens Head pub) too.

Leedons at Broadway. Lickhill, Stourbridge, CCC or the CC at Malvern.

We camp Worcestershire or surrounding counties when ever we can, especially weekends as it means starting off after work.

We stayed at Lickhill last weekend and went to Worcester on the Monday. Took us about 25-30 mins. It was a lovely site and the walk along the river to Stourport is great. Because of the kids holidays it was very busy and there were a few 'too much noise at night' type campers there but on the whole would recommend it.

Also recommend the Tudor caravan site at Slimbridge as mentioned by TonyBarrett but don't know if you'll make it to Worcester in 45 mins?
