Ord house is nicely placed for Berwick and its interesting ramparts , as has been said and its got a nice sunday lunch in the pub too on site with a play area for kids inside and a big park outside .
Nearer to the castles Dunstan hill Cand C site is nicely placed for Duntanburgh Castle , you have to go there its the law if you like a scenic castle ruin and its my favorite you wont be dissapointed (walk in from Craster )
Warren Mills a big spaceous site too good for kids too and Close to Bamburgh and Seahouses . There is a site actually in Seahouses but i Cant comment as never been , its got a lot of statics tho .

Can't recommend a campsite, sorry, but we went to the area for October half term(stayed in a static on a haven site -that I wouldn't especially recommend!- that we booked as a Sun break) and loved it.. a really beautiful place. We loved Holy Island -- you can check the tide times on the web before you go so you can plan your day a bit better than we did and not have to rush round like we did!.. and the castles. Bit random, I know, but I would also recommend a butchers in Bamburgh that did its own fab sausage rolls, pies etc.. Hope you have great time. Sarah x
