Probably no help, but we stayed there a few times years ago and found it ok. Only stayed for weekends though. It is in a nice area, good for walking, close to the coast too.
I do remember vaguely though, that they were putting a lot more statics on there.
Sorry, can't be of more help, but at least your blue face has now gone!
We've stayed at Fell End a couple of times for long weekends and we liked it. I know what you mean about no reviews, it does make you wonder why. The only thing I would say is that the pitches are all gravel (there is no grass at all) but this does have its advantages if the weather is bad. There is a shop and a pub on site, the Fell End Inn, which serves food but it did get busy whilst we were there (it was school hols though!)
If you need to know anything else, will try and help.
yes we went there last year.It was okay.Very friendly and helpful good shop with a okay club.Food bog standard grub but okay.Great play area lots of wildlife walking round caravans.Mostly under tree cover but the most strangest bit was there was no grass apart from play area.It was like gravelly limestone so great for a wet weekend! I think we would probably return as its so handy from the motorway. They were building little like log cabins that you could only probably fit a bed in.It was different but thats not neccessarily a bad thing.
Hope this helps, its perhaps worth a look
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Never stayed on this site as it's a little too close to home for us but we did have a look round it last year. Seemed to be mainly statics but the touring area looked OK. When we visited, the shop seemed a bit empty. Didn't look at the shower block etc.The site in general looked pretty well maintained so I would guess the shower block etc would be OK.
we have stayed on this site a couple of times. touring area ok but all gravel. the facilities were very clean. shop on site and pub which we never used. large play area centred around the static caravans our kids loved it.would go back to this site.

Well, as I cant add a review on this site. I thought I would post our thoughts on this site.
The site is mainly Statics and now has two touring area's. The top and the bottom.
We were on the top pitch's which are permanent storage and touring. This area used to be for tents, and it shows. The pitch's are cramped and tight. You will either need a mover or help to get the van on the pitch, as there is NOT enough room on to reverse.
There is NO tv reception, but you can hire a cable for £2 a night..
Now to the toilet block, I can only comment on the top block and we were not impressed. The wife found a cockroach in the ladies, the gents smelt and both toilet cubicles ran out of toilet roll and sinks of soap. There was no mop to clean the shower afterwards. The showers were OK good temperature but poor flow.
This site allows dogs and lots of them!!
The grass smells of dog wee and I had to clean my shoes (well the wife did) of a smelly brown substance.
The site is oriented for static vans and this shows. There appears to be a new leisure centre being built with swimming pool and bar I believe.
But other than that we had a good weekend away ;)
